Welcome to the Gamma Chapter of Alpha Sigma Theta Sorority. Here, you can explore our website to learn what we are all about.
Alpha Sigma Theta started out with four women and is now a strong organization consisting of many members, memories, and traditions. Over the years, The sisters have added many things to the sorority that have made it the successful organization that it is today.
Alpha Sigma Theta was established to give young women the opportunity to develop their leadership skills to their fullest potential and to develop sisterhood and spirit along with enriching their college experiences. Through this, the sisters can better prepare for the future.
The sorority is a part of the Greek system at California State University, Northridge, and participates in several activities that supports the community around them, along with various organizations. Alpha Sigma Theta is a dynamic organization that brings great strength in the world today.

"They're the people you can share your secrets with, cry with, laugh with, and just be yourself with. They don't judge you or make you change. They accept you exactly who you are. They look at you and they see a great person, one they love spending time with. You all share something in common and are tied together by memories, tears, laughs and smiles. You're tied together by love for the other. Sisterhood is the greatest thing in the world. I find my time with my sisters the best times of my life. My sisters are my heart, my soul, my fun, my laughter, my tears, my love, my life." ~Unknown
